Official Spanish translation and legalization processes
For a document in a foreign language to be valid in a Spanish-speaking country unless it has been:
a) Officially translated into Spanish, typewritten without corrections or erasures in a professional way by a certified translator. Victor is a certified translator (with 20 years in the business) who will mail you the official Spanish translation of your documents in two days. Continue
b) Certified by a Notary Public of the province where the translation was done (included in the time and cost of Victor’s translation). Continue
c) Authenticated by the Canadian Government (Apostiled): This means that the notary’s signature has been authenticated by the Official Documentation Service of the Province of the Notary. Victor will provide you detailed instructions so You may Do it Yourself (adds 2 to 7 days to the process, depending on the province and other factors). Alternatively you can have this done by the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa (adds 15 to 30 days to the process). Continue
d) Legalized by the Consulate in Canada of the country where the wedding will take place. Victor will provide you detailed instructions on where to go, how much the consulate will charge you and how long will this red tape take so You may Do it Yourself (adds 2 to 30 days to the process depending on the Consulate of that country and on how you get it done). Continue
SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION, TIME AND MONEY
In addition to the official translation and its notarized certification, Victor can take care of the whole Canadian Government authentication process(c) and Consular legalization processes (d) for you in a more cost-effective way, with a total lead time of +/-10 days (including translation and mailing time).
